Susan Elliott of the Black Pearls had a last minute opportunity performance come up at a small Natural Horse Expo in Wisconsin this past June of 2007 and she asked if we might include Lisa and Hessel. She also asked if she might use Gaerem in the performance with one of her riders. So of the four horses below; two are boys of Blackshire and one (Marco) spends half of his year at Blackshire! So Blackshire could proudly claim three of the four stallions at the performance! As usual, Hessel was his charming and willing self. He carries himself with such character that it makes you want to reach out and touch him just to make sure he is real and not just a figment of your imagination! We are excited that we will be involved with the Black Pearls again in 2008 for their performances at the Midwest Horse Fair and hopefully the MN Horse Expo. Come and say HI...Hessel loves the attention.
