He has settled quickly and easily into the Blackshire routine and finds a great deal of enjoyment with the pace of a busy training, lesson and show barn. Due to unforseen circumstances, Vogue's current owner is in the position of selling this dream horse that she bought two years ago.
Vogue has also shown the true Friesian work ethic and willingness to work. He enjoys being handled and groomed as much as being ridden. This is truly a gentleman stallion who is a wonderful young horse to handle both on the ground and in the saddle.
Vogues registered name is Arend ut it Roskefjild and he is a 2000, 6 year old, full papered KFPS/FHANA stallion, imported from The Netherlands in 2005, Heinse 354 x Oege 267 Pref x Tsjalling 235, stam 50, ster x ster x ster pref x ster pref x ster pref x ster x model pref, 6.05% inbr. coeff., standing at 16.1 hands/1.65m.
He has a full semen report and does not carry the red gene making him an outstanding Stallion Investment Prospect.
Depending on his show scores he can be presented at age 8 for stallion consideration with KFPS. He may also be eligible for approval with FPZV. He is Z2, competed successfully in 4th level dressage at age 5 in The Netherlands and was the 1st level champion at age 3 in the Netherlands. He has also trained single tempi changes.
Vogue displays the wonderful personality that is coming to be synonymous with what people know of the Friesians and he loves to work. He appeared in the Dutch movie "Floris"! Tons of hair; his forelock now touches his nose and his mane reaches his knees.

We turn him out and he passages for the girls in the next paddock, then will spring into a lovely medium trot - this stallion has true presence and an extraordinary love of life; he is so fun to watch playing and cavorting. Vogue has been part of an all stallion quadrille both in The Netherlands and in the U.S. so is used to crowds and people and adores the attention.
