Dressage - Mindy Price
Mindy has been an instructor and trainer with Blackshire for many years. She has a large clientele base who are interested in competitive dressage and some of whom show on the recognized circuit. Mindy's students, both youth and amateur have consistently distinguished themselves in Region 4, winning many Jr/Yg Rider and Adult Team Championships as well as individual high points and many many Regional Championships. Mindy has become renown throughout the Midwest as one of the finest instructors available. She is easily able to translate her riding knowledge to her students, who then have gone on to do great things. Mindy is herself quite accomplished and has attained many National Awards throughout her years as an instructor and rider. She is in a constant state of learning and bettering herself, frequently clinicing with European instructors and weekly lessons with "S" judge Marlene Schneider. Mindy is available Monday thru Saturday, the exception being during horse show season. Mindy is currently going thru the USDF Judges Program.
In order to assist in the learning process and to enable our students to measure their progress, Blackshire also offers 6-7 dressage and jumping schooling shows per year. These on site schooling shows are an inexpensive way for a student to get their feet wet showing without incurring large show fees.
