Ares is absolutely stunning! Four high whites, wide white on his face and fancy movement.

Ares is a tall chestnut stallion with flash who has a lot of bone and Irish Draught traditional type but yet he has a long neck and an upright uphill posture with presence and elegance who will be a substantial horse capable of carrying weight in the hunt field and in sport. In addition to the wonderful Irish big canter and walk, Ares is fortunate enough to possess a dressage quality trot.

Ares' sire, Beeston Laird is a 17.2 hand, imported Irish Draught Stallion.  We are proud to be standing at stud the Irish stallion "Beeston Laird" who has become known for his temperament as well as his athleticism, including a lovely jump. Fortunately, Beeston Laird is proving himself able to pass on his temperament, willing work ethic and athletic ability to his offspring. This is creating wonderful progeny who are athletic, intelligent and excellent amateur owner sporthorse partners.

Ares' damsire, Banks Fee Daniel is one of the most successful stallions of his type currently standing at stud.  His own competition record together with that of his stock, speaks volumes for his ability to breed top class show and competition horses of all types, from all kinds of mares.  All his offspring inherit his wonderful top line and easy trainable disposition.  In addition they are all incredibly correct, super looking, athletic horses.  Attributes that enable them to successfully function as sports horses in all disciplines.  Daniel has consistently covered a large number of mare's both in the United Kingdom and the United States now has some of the best pure and part bred stock to his name.  No other stallion can boast two progeny group wins in two different countries. Banks Fee Daniel is ranked within the top 25% of the United States Equestrian Federation leading sire of show jumpers list.
