Carmen is a beautiful Premium Oldenburg filly.  With a wonderful pedigree, lovely gaits and fabulous conformation she is a wonderful sport prospect. Carmen combines femininity, grace and athleticism effortlessly.

 

Sire, Sir Gregory as a 3 year old was the convincing winner of his 30 day test at Neustadt/Dosse, with very high scores in every category, Interior (Temperament, character, conformation) 9.25, Walk 8.50, Trot 9.38, Canter 8.75, Rideabilty 9.38 Jumping Ability 8.00 which gave him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.

Sir Gregory has also enjoyed much success in the young dressage horse classes in Germany. In 2010 Sir Gregory was a winner in the dressage arena, at his first show in Canada, Sir Gregory scored an impressive 8.1 in the FEI 5 yr old Finals Test. With his rider/trainer Sir Gregory has enjoyed much success in the dressage winning in California at 3rd and 4th level with high scores. Sir Gregory recently made his debut at Prix St George at 7 yrs old and scored 71.8 %. We look forward to a bright future in the show ring for this young stallion. Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect. Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability.

 

Dam, Westergaardens Comtesse is a 16 hand, imported Danish Warmblood mare. She was trained through PSG and shown at 3rd level with scores in the 70's. She is a sweet, feminine mare with expressive, floaty gaits. She is extremely athletic and has wonderful conformation.  She was Reserve Champion Non-Hanoverian mare at her AHS inspection with an 8 for correctness of gaits. 

Westergaardens Comtesse's sire, Come Back ll is ranked #10 for the WBFSH 100 Top Dressage Stallion Sire Ranking of 2014. He was the Danish Warmblood Stallion of the year in 2002. Come Back II completed his hundred day test in 1995 and among 40 of the best horses in Germany he placed first overall. His test riders gave him scores of 9 and 10 for rideability and character. In the jumping portion of the test he was first, and in dressage he placed third for an overall first place performance. Come Back II, was a successful competitor in, and winner of, many advanced dressage and performance tests.

 

Westergaardens Comtesse's damsire, Michellino is ranked #6 for the WBFSH 100 Top Dressage Stallion Sire Ranking for 2014. Michellino was the 2006 Danish Warmblood stallion of the year. Michellino comes from a successful dressage lineage, his sire Michelangelo and grandsire Ulft. Michellino has been one of the most used breeding stallions of the Danish Warmblood book due to his progeny which possess very expressive and supple gaits, a very effective 'motor' and elegant and noble exteriors. Michellino was reserve champion at the 100 day Day Performance Test in Wilhelmsborg and now is competing successfully in dressage in Denmark at Prix St.Georges-level. Michellino started a successful career as a producer of dressage horses and has many approved sons now, as well as 58 graded mares. The dressage index of Michellino is 120 points. Six of Michellino's progeny have participated in the Young Horse Performance test in Herning. Furthermore 18 of his children have been selected for the semi-finals for the 4, 5 and 6 year old Championships in Denmark 2001. Because of these outstanding achievements Michellino has been awarded an "Elite" stallion by the Danish Warmblood Society!
