Lucille is a 16.2 hand, liver chestnut Oldenburg mare bred by Lloyd Landkamer. Pferde Farm and Blackshire sincerely appreciate the opportunity to add this incredible mare and her sister to our broodmare lineup. Lucy is one of a few Royal Dance mares in the country. At her Oldenburg inspection, Lucy scored an overall score of 7.83 with a 9 for her walk and 8's on her conformation, breed type, trot, general impression, head, neck, saddle position and frame. Lucy's 2015 Sezuan filly was the #1 Oldenburg filly in the U.S. for 2015.
Sire, Royal Dance was the Oldenburg champion stallion in 1998. He was ranked again in the best 5% on the 2007 German dressage sire index with 145 index points and a reliability of 94%. Royal Dance has always been praised for his very modern type, very strong and correct foundation and his 3 excellent basic gaits. During the selections Royal Dance proved himself and again during his 100 day test Royal Dance caused a sensation and achieved no less than 144 dressage points. Royal Dance has been successful in the sport and is trained to Prix St. Georges level. Royal Dance has proved himself through his offspring, athletic modern horses, that posses a lot of elasticity, looseness and above all the ability to perform. As sire of already 6 approved sons, Royal Hit, Royal Secret, Royal Dancer’s Boy, Rhapsody and Surprice and more than 15 State premium daughters Royal Dance has put his stamp in many different breeding areas. His offspring have been successful in young horse selections and 40% of which are registered in The Netherlands are successful in the sport. His son Taranco and daughter Tropical Dance have already reached national level and in 2007 five of his children reached the semi final of the PAVO cup. Also abroad his offspring are very successful: Romella (Bundeschampionat 2005), Roter Diamand (Spanish champion 5-year old dressage horses), Royal Court (winner many competitions in Germany) and Royal de Topaz (winner Finnish Breeders Trophy 2007). It is not only in sports that Royal Dance’s offspring are convincing; they are also very sort after at auctions; Ritz Carlton (€ 45,000.-), Royal T. (€ 150.000,-), Rafiki (€ 34.000,-), Vigoro’so (24.000,-) and Topper (€ 120.000,-). Royal Dance: dressage blood in a world-class pedigree.
Damsire, Lord Sinclair has qualified 4 times for the German Federal Championships. He was also two-time German Young Horse Champion, principal premium winner at the Oldenburg Stallion Days and commanding winner of the 1999 Stallion Performance Test. A top level dressage stallion who possesses coveted performance genes in abundance. Lord Sinclair’s offspring are proving themselves by winning foal shows and championships--with their noble and dancing movements their significant trademarks. Lord Sinclair has over 20 approved sons. One of his most noted sons, Sir Sinclair, claimed the highest price at the KWPN Select Sale selling for $380,000, and has become a noted sire in the USA. Lord Sinclair won the silver medal at the World Young Dressage Horse Championships in Verden and the German Young Horse Championships in Warendorf with top scores. Lord of Loxley, the silver medal winner at the World Young Dressage Horse Championships in 2004 is another example of the excellent movement and exceptional rideability that Lord Sinclair consistently passes along to his progeny. Lord Sinclair’s daughters have been equally as successful. In 2003, his daughter “Prima Ballerina” was the best dressage mare at the National Stud Neustadt/Dosse. Lord Sinclair is a Prix St. George winner.
