Penmerryls Veil of Venus was bred at Penmerryl Farm in Virginia from her imported dam Winmaur Vera Too. Vera was a very successful dam as she has produced the mare Penmerryl's Vespa a National Champion Irish Draught Horse. Vera's son, the gelding Penmerryls Too Blue has had a very successful performance career as an all arounder.

Sire, Happy Ending competed all the way to Grand Prix Jumpers and is by the great stallion Snowford Stoker. Happy Ending produced over the years some great breeding and performance show stock both in North America and Great Britain he also was performance tested in England where he was awarded a grade 1 elite status. He was a Grade 1 Elite performance tested stallion and a National Performance Champion as well.
