Sire, Dobrock is a 16.2 Hanoverian stallion by Davingport by Davignon. Davingport was imported from Germany in 1996 after receiving impressive marks in his Stallion Performance Test. He received an overall score of 104.55 with individual scores of 101.18 for dressage and 109.65 for jumping. Davingport was also given eights for impulsion, elasticity, and jumping ability. In 2003, the USDF ranked Davingport fourth for leading dressage stallions in the United States, due to the success of his offspring in the dressage arena. Davingport was ranked 3rd for top Hanoverian stallions that produced offspring competing in the United States.

Dobrock’s Grandsire, Davignon I had the highest score for rideability in his Stallion Performance Test with a score of 146 and was ranked second overall. He was also awarded champion Four-year old riding hoirse in Germany.

In Dobrock’s mare line is the very talented Hanoverian mare Pijou by Parabol. In her mare performance test, Pijou scored an eight for her canter, nines for her trot, walk and rideability, and a perfect 10 for her jumping ability, giving her a an overall score of 8.89. Parabol was another talented performance horse. His overall score of 140 points earned him champion of his Stallion Performance Test where he demonstrated equal aptitude for dressage and jumping. Parabol was also awarded Champion of Oldenburg at the age of four. In Germany, Parabol competed successfully in jumping and is listed among the AHS Jumper Breeding Program. His quiet manner and jumping technique won him the Prize of the Best competition for young riders, a prestigious competition that judges horses over a 5’5” course. After being imported to the United States, Parabol began competing in dressage. In his first year of competition, Parabol won the USDF Horse of the Year title at Third Level. In 1994, he was short listed for the Pan American Team and long listed by the USET. He continued to compete at Grand Prix level until retiring in 1999.

The talent of these horses is certainly reflected in Dobrock. He is an exceptionally athletic horse that has demonstrated talent in both jumping and dressage. Dobrock is an AHS registered stallion and has demonstrated himself as prepotent for movement, temperament, and type. His offspring demonstrate excellent jumping technique, confident dispositions, and are remarkable trainability.
